In the Standard Series, Marceau Guitars offer the Initiale. It represents our take on the famous Single Cut that embodies the style of Rock. In order to give her a more modern feel, we made the guitar thinner (40mm instead of 45mm) and add a rib rest and an arm rest for comfort.
This particular model is very close to her big sister, the Custom version, its only difference being the bolt-on neck.
It's up to you to tailor the Initiale Standard to your needs. The instrument is fully customisable.

PREMIUM ELECTRONICS!
On all Marceau Guitars instruments whatever the series, we compromise nothing on hardware and the electronics. On the Initiale Standard, we have made the choice to use a 4-way switch to be able to use an extra position in having both pickups in series. The sound it creates is a more powerful and dynamic one. We only use premium parts such as CTS potentiometers, US CTS or OAK switches and Orange Drop capacitors. Nothing is left to chance.
DESIGN AND COMFORT
Comfort is key so that you can focus on playing music and forget about the instrument, the latter becoming an extension of yourself. This is particularly important during a studio session or a gig. That's why the Initiale Standard features both a rib rest and an arm rest to play the guitar with maximum ease and comfort.
FIXED BRIDGE
The fixed bridge of the Initiale Standard is a premium Hipshot bridge. It allows for a precise set-up of the intonation and the action of your Initiale. Plus, it better trasmits the vibration of the strings to the body for a richer sound.
